Job Description
The Smart Systems Institute (SSI) at NUS is seeking a motivated postdoctoral researcher with expertise in robotics and human-robot interaction. This position is to develop assistive robots capable navigation and manipulation of objects in human environments.
Qualifications
The candidate should have:
- A PhD in computer science, robotics, or related area.
- Knowledge and expertise in robotics, specifically navigation. Experience with manipulation is a plus.
- Experience working with robot development tools, e.g., ROS, and relevant robot simulation frameworks.
- Experience developing robots for interaction with people, e.g., in social navigation.
- Publications in top robotics conferences (R:SS, ICRA, IROS)
- Experience with machine learning, especially with large-language models would be beneficial.
The candidate should be committed to full-time employment at NUS, Singapore
